We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.

We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services for 19 years. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.

We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.

IntraHealth is currently recruiting an Anticoagulant Monitoring Service Pharmacy Technician or Anticoagulant Monitoring Service Nurse to work in our Anticoagulant Monitoring Service clinics and to carry out home visits within the North East.

We are looking for a AMS Pharmacy Technician or Nurse to join our team:

  • who are enthusiastic and committed to working with patients;
  • who want to join an award-winning team;
  • who have good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • who have been qualified for at least 3 years.

You will work autonomously, but also as part of the wider team.  No previous anticoagulant experience is needed as comprehensive training and mentorship is provided.  There may also be opportunities to develop portfolio working as our range of local services grows.

The Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 state that workers, except those who are medically exempt, will have to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by 11th November 2021.  The new law applies to all care homes in England which are registered with the CQC that provide nursing or personal care.  The legal requirement to be fully vaccinated applies to this role.
