Our team is made up of a wide range of healthcare professionals and administrative roles including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams. Our frontline teams are supported by a centralised back office function; providing executive, finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.

We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.

IntraHealth Ltd delivers immunisation and vaccination services for NHS England across several areas in the UK. Our immunisation and vaccination service has been running for 10 years and forms part of our established clinical services in the North of England.

The Locality Lead Nurse works as a member of the Immunisation Team to support the safe delivery of vaccination programmes within the community and educational settings in accordance with NHSE, Department of Health Green Book against Immunisation and Local Services Specifications.

The Locality Lead Nurse works closely with the Deputy Organisational Lead Nurse supporting the Clinical Organisational Lead around the National routine schedule of vaccinations for Children and managing outbreaks in the community setting. Also working with other Locality Lead Nurses providing advice, support and training to the Derbyshire clinical team and other local areas where required.

Vaccination delivery takes place in various settings including schools, clinics, and community venues to provide National Childhood Immunisation Programmes and other Immunisation contracts.

There is a requirement to attend meetings with NHSE commissioners or partner agencies such as Local Authorities, Schools and Public Health to ensure vaccination uptake is maintained.
