IntraHealth are recruiting Bank Immunisation Nurses to join our Immunisation Team. This work will predominantly be within the School Age Immunisation Team to administer flu vaccines from September to December. Training is likely to be in August.
Successful candidates will work in schools and community settings delivering vaccinations. This is generally in teams however there is an expectation that nurses will be confident to vaccinate autonomously in some sessions.
Start times are generally between 0800 hours and 0900 hours. We run clinics some evenings. We would want bank staff to be able to commit to a minimum of 1 shift per week from September to Mid-December.
Successful candidates must have a car with business insurance and be prepared to drive to schools across Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, Middlesbrough and Darlington to administer the vaccinations. You will receive a comprehensive training package therefore experience in delivering the nasal and IM flu vaccinations is not essential. This will be delivered in August or early September.
