We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.

We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services since 1999. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.

We operate NHS services across the North East, Midlands, Yorkshire and North West. Our Anticoagulation Service operates across the NE, York and North West (Bury).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Independent Prescribing Pharmacist or Nurse to join us as Clinical Lead for our Anticoagulation Monitoring Service (AMS) based at our Head Office in the William Brown Centre, Peterlee, County Durham.  Leadership is required across all of the anticoagulation service contract areas and some travel will be necessary.

Our ideal candidate will provide clinical vision and strategy for the service, leading on all clinical decision for the service and providing clinical leadership and mentoring to the diverse clinical team to ensure a safe and efficient anticoagulant monitoring service is delivered, as well as retaining a patient facing role. The team consists of Pharmacists, Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians and Health Care Assistants. As the central point of contact for the Commissioners of the AMS, the Clinical Lead is an expert resource with knowledge, skills, and experience.
