IntraHealth is one of the UK’s leading provider of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.
We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services for 19 years. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.
We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.
IntraHealth are currently recruiting for a Salaried General Medical Practitioner to help deliver our vision of high-quality medical services at our well-established, progressive, friendly practice team in our Hallgarth Surgery.
At Hallgarth we are progressive and dynamic, embracing new technology and ways of working ranging from daily telephone triage to video and e-consultations.
We offer a flexible approach to division of roles and responsibilities within our small friendly and experienced practice team. The clinical teams are also well supported by an excellent administration and management team; this allows our GPs to concentrate on clinical work.
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced GP looking to take a leading role in improving patients’ outcomes especially in areas such as diabetes and contributing towards redesigning services locally by representing the practice at PCN and CCG level.
You will be a team player who is keen to support and contribute to our program of continuous improvements and weekly clinical meetings and work with us to ensure we maintain our high QOF results.
We provide an excellent opportunity for General practitioners wishing to join our highly respected and friendly teams. We offer: –
- Excellent salary and employment benefits, including BMA contract and NHS pension
- Opportunities for role progression and personal development to medical director level
- We actively encourage participation in practice decisions and service developments
- We support flexible working patterns and part-time working therefore would encourage applicants who wish to combine a clinical role with other professional or personal commitments.
- We provide peer support, educational opportunities and help towards mandatory training and appraisal.
Our aim is to provide an excellent standard of primary care whilst supporting personal and professional development. Our people are our most valued asset, and we encourage our GPs to develop their skills and interests locally and within the wider organisation.
The Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 state that workers, except those who are medically exempt, will have to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by 1st April 2022. It will be unlawful for CQC regulated providers in health and social care in England to employ staff who have direct patient contact and who are unvaccinated, except those who are medically exempt. Therefore the legal requirement to be fully vaccinated applies to this role.
