IntraHealth is one of the UK’s leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.
We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services since the company was founded in 1999. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back-office function, providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.
IntraHealth Ltd delivers immunisation and vaccination services for NHS England across several areas in the UK. Our immunisation and vaccination service has been running since 2009 and forms part of our established clinical services in the North of England.
We are looking for a highly organised and professional School Immunisation Administrators to join our team in a rewarding role supporting the immunisation programme across Greater Manchester. You will play a key part in supporting the immunisation nurses with in-direct supervision from your team leader or locality lead nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion to protecting children against preventable diseases in a busy and fast paced healthcare environment.
Successful candidates will ideally have experience working with children in a school setting or similar. However, applicants with other experience will also be considered. Knowledge of using basic IT is beneficial as you will be using a company laptop/tablet to operate NHS England’s immunisation platform MAVIS. You must have access to a car with your own business insurance and be prepared to collect vaccinations from your base. With start times as early as 7:30am. Teams will then meet the immunisation nurses at school. After completing the school session, school admin will be required to return all equipment to their base before heading home.
In line with manual handling guidelines, candidates will need to have a good level of fitness with the ability to lift vaccination bags that could weigh up to 20kg with the assistance of your colleagues if needed. With the addition to complying with infection, prevention and control measures whilst in clinical settings.
Candidates successful at interview will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check by IntraHealth, followed by completion of both online and face-to-face training commencing from July 2026. Therefore, being available from July is essential.
